From a Facebook group to a city-wide community.
Made In Ranchi began as a Facebook group in 2011. In 2016, it grew into a meme community, sharing the local humour and familiar experiences that bring Ranchiites together.
Along the way, something special happened. Our DMs stopped being just about memes. People started sending us messages: “Hey, my band is playing at a local café this Friday,”“Check out this 80-year-old litti vendor,” or “We are organizing a tree-planting drive in Morabadi.”
We realized Ranchi didn’t just need laughter — it needed a voice. A platform to scan what’s happening, keep things active, and make sure that no cool gig, talented creator, or local entrepreneur goes unnoticed.
