Summer Math Camps for Struggling Students in Bihar

Bihar is rolling out the summer to help students! Due to the intense heat, the government is declaring summer holidays in state-run primary schools from June 2nd to June 21st, 2025. To support students struggling with math, a special ‘Summer Math Camp’ is being organized for students in grades 5th and 6th. The camp will be run in collaboration with ‘Pratham’ and will be held in villages and towns across Bihar. Engineering colleges, polytechnic students, NCC cadets, skilled youth from the Bihar Skill Development Mission, trainees from DIETs, Nehru Yuva Kendra members, and volunteers from self-help groups will be leading the sessions. The camp will run from 7am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm, providing personalized math tutoring. The Education Department is coordinating to ensure smooth operations and volunteer arrangements.
