Jharkhand Badminton Championship Set to Begin in Hazaribagh

Hazaribagh, Jharkhand – A major badminton event is coming to our city! The Jharkhand State Senior and Under-19 Badminton Championship-cum-selection trial for the East Zone tournament will be held from August 22nd to 24th at the Hazaribagh Indoor Stadium. Local players like Safi Akram, Priyanshu Tirki, and others will be battling it out for a chance to represent our state.

The tournament will feature a wide range of events, including men’s and women’s under-19 singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. A total of 44 players will compete in the men’s singles, 13 in the women’s singles, 42 in the boys’ under-19 category, and 19 in the girls’ singles. Organizers have ensured a smooth and well-managed event with a dedicated panel of national-level referees.
