Community Support for Local Women

In a heartwarming initiative, the Bandhan Bank Topchanchi branch recently provided essential support to vulnerable widows and other women in the remote Topchanchi area. The bank distributed kits valued at approximately 8,000 rupees to 20 women, alongside food rations and sewing machines, encouraging them to start income-generating businesses. Block Pramukh Anand Kumar praised the bank's efforts, highlighting the importance of empowering these women and fostering self-reliance within the community.
