Significant Investments for Tilैया Military School
Jharkhand is set to significantly upgrade its leading military school, Tilैया. The Chief Secretary, Alka Tiwari, recently held a meeting to discuss plans for a new water supply system and expansions, totaling over 9.49 crore rupees. The school, which boasts 875 students – the highest of any military school in Jharkhand – will receive crucial improvements.
The planned investment includes a new water supply system (9.49 crore rupees) and the construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant. Additionally, existing staff quarters will be renovated, and pension and benefits for school personnel will be supported with approximately 7 crore rupees. Students will also benefit from improved healthcare, with annual health checks now being conducted in Codermia, eliminating previous travel to Hazaribagh.
