Jharkhand Announces Cash Awards for Medal-Winning Athletes

Ranchi, Jharkhand – The Jharkhand government has officially launched a scheme to reward athletes who bring home medals from national and international competitions. The initiative, spearheaded by the District Sports Officer in Ranchi, aims to recognize the achievements of the state's sporting talent.

How to Apply

To be eligible, athletes must have won medals in recognized Indian Olympic Federation-affiliated sports as of April 1, 2024. Applications must be submitted in the specified format, along with copies of your Aadhaar card, bank passbook, and relevant sports certificates. The deadline for submission is May 31st at 5 PM.
