Ramgarh Sauce Factories Shut Down Amidst Health Concerns
Ramgarh Sauce Factory Inspection Reveals Violations
On Wednesday, District Food Safety Officer Deepshri conducted a raid on two sauce factories within the Ramgarh city limits. The inspection targeted a factory operating under the 'Muskan' brand, owned by Sonetiya Food Products, located in Sewaiyagra, where several violations related to food safety were discovered. As a result, 1600 liters of sauce were seized. This is not the first time this factory has been flagged for issues, as three samples previously failed inspection and are currently under legal proceedings with the Justice Decision Officer and Deputy Collector’s Court.
Another factory, operated by Sanjay Prasad Agarwal at Parasotiya (Swastik Bhandar), was also seized. Investigations revealed that this factory produces sauce using harmful chemicals like 'Kohda pulp, color, and सैकreen', posing a serious risk to public health. These sauces are commonly used in fast-food stalls and small shops throughout the area.
