The skies above Ranchi are set to come alive with thrilling aerial displays as the Indian Air Force Air Show is scheduled to take place on April 19 and 20 at Khoja Toli Army Ground, Namkum. With excitement building across the city, the Ranchi District Administration, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri, has kicked off full-fledged preparations to ensure the event is a grand success.

In a high-level coordination meeting held on Friday, DC Bhajantri reviewed the entire framework of arrangements with senior Air Force officials, police officers, and key members of the district administration. The session focused on meticulous planning to provide a seamless and safe experience for both the dignitaries and the general public attending the show.

Key logistical arrangements discussed included:

Provision of drinking water

Barricading and crowd control

Toilets and sanitation facilities

Deployment of medical teams and ambulances

Fire safety measures and bomb disposal squads

Accommodation arrangements for visitors

Special attention is also being given to media coordination, vehicle movement planning, and wide publicity to maximize public outreach. To ensure a robust security setup, magistrates and police officers will be deployed strategically across the venue.

To streamline operations and facilitate smooth execution, Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), Ranchi, Utkarsh Kumar, has been appointed as the nodal officer for the event. Other key officials involved in the planning include ADM (Law and Order) Rajeshwar Nath Alok, District Nazarat Deputy Collector Dr. Sudesh Kumar, District Education Superintendent Badal Raj, and PRO Urvashi Pandey. From the defense side, notable names include Colonel Hrithik, Lieutenant Colonel Brinda, Wing Commander PK Singh, and Squadron Leader (name continuation awaited).

The Deputy Commissioner assured the Indian Air Force team of complete administrative support and emphasized the pride and enthusiasm the people of Jharkhand feel in hosting this prestigious event.
