Ranchi Man Murder Case Verdict

In a significant development in the murder case of सोमनाथ बेदिया in Ranchi, a key accused, सनातन बेदिया, has been found guilty by Additional Sessions Judge Arvind Kumar. The court will hear arguments on the sentencing point on June 16th. However, two other accused were acquitted due to lack of evidence.

The incident occurred in Buđhābehra village, under the Silly police station, on June 25, 2020. According to a police report, सनातन बेदिया, along with his father Prān बेदिया and mother Sarita Devi, allegedly assaulted सोमनाथ बेदिया with sticks, bricks, and stones, causing severe injuries. Somnath was hospitalized and later died during treatment at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
