Ranchi IMS Director Halts Salaries Over Stock Management Issues

Ranchi: The Director of the Regional Medical Store (RIMS), Prof (Dr) Raj Kumar, has ordered the suspension of salaries for clerks and officers who aren’t following procurement instructions. This comes after repeated written and verbal orders went unheeded, with staff failing to update stock levels of medications, consumables, and surgical items. Files were being forwarded despite the stores being completely out of stock.
