Sailing Skills Training Launched in Jharkhand Village

In Chandil, Jharkhand, the District Welfare Department launched a new initiative – the ‘Earth Aba Tribal Village Upliftment Campaign’ – with a focus on income-generating skills. Local MLA, Savita Mahto, officially started the training programs in the village of Dirlong, which include sewing and pottery training. MLA Mahto emphasized the state government’s commitment to supporting women’s entrepreneurship through these programs. She believes that by learning these skills, women can improve their income and help support their families. Details about the sewing machines provided were also shared with the participants.
