The preparations for the Shravani Mela 2025 are in full swing in Jharkhand and Bihar, with a focus on providing better facilities and security for pilgrims visiting the Baba Temple. Administrative and police officials from both states are coordinating closely to ensure smooth and safe access for devotees. Special arrangements are being made for pilgrims traveling from Sultanगंज to Deoghar.

A key focus is on maintaining security and managing crowds. Regular updates will be provided along the pilgrim route, particularly from Sultanगंज to Deoghar. The Partलपुर Commissioner, Himanshu Kumar Rai, is overseeing coordination between Partलपुर, Banka, and Murshidabad districts. Police will maintain a strong presence through increased patrols and checkpoints. A review meeting was held with the Deoghar SP and District Magistrates to assess preparedness.

Key preparations include special facilities at holding points, a chatbot for addressing pilgrim concerns, 24/7 connectivity via WhatsApp groups with state officials, ensuring reliable power supply in each district with 24-hour emergency teams, and strict enforcement of traffic regulations. VIP/Out-of-turn darshan will be completely prohibited, with CCTV surveillance and drone monitoring for crowd management. Alternative routes (like Hansdeha) are being considered due to road construction near Basukinath. Strict action will be taken against intoxicated and drug dealers. Bus services are being monitored closely.
