Urimari Comes Alive with Devotional Festivities

The village of Urimari, part of Hazaribagh, witnessed vibrant celebrations on Wednesday in honour of Lord Vashishtha (also known as Bishwakarma), the creator of the universe. Numerous locations across the area saw devotees setting up shrines and offering prayers. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and festive spirit.

A particularly grand pandal (temporary shrine) was constructed at CCL’s Potanga Workshop, officially opened by CCL Barka-Sayal Area General Manager Ajay Singh. Local dignitaries like Urimari Project Officer and Patron Dilip Kumar, President A.S. Singh, Secretary Dharmendra Kumar, Treasurer Kedar Munda, Ganesh Ram, and Mo. Hassan were also present. Attendees gathered before Lord Vashishtha expressing their wishes.

Another beautifully decorated pandal was erected at the CCL Water Resources Department (Water Tank) at the Urimari Checkpost. A captivating image of Lord Vashishtha was placed, and rituals were performed according to tradition. Throughout the evening, the area resonated with the sounds of devotional music as devotees continued to arrive.
